July 27 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Have you ever wondered who lived on the spot where you live now, oh say 200 years ago? Come to Todd’s to see exhibits and hear Professor Glenn Johnston explain who lived where on Patapsco Neck at the time of the Battle of Patapsco Neck (aka North Point) and how the battle affected them. Dr. Johnston and a team of student researchers from Stevenson University used a grant from the American Battlefield Protection Program to dig up and synthesize all sorts of existing documentation to learn the names, places of residence, number of people who lived at each residence (free and slave), how much land they worked, what other means they used to support themselves, and many, many more facets of their lives. In addition, eight informational exhibits that will be throughout the house, and Dr. Johnson will present a PowerPoint talk on the research and its findings at 1 p.m.
