Maryland 250 Commission visits Todd’s Inheritance
On August 4, members of the Maryland 250 Commission enjoyed a tour of Todd’s Inheritance museum and grounds. This commission was authorized in 2023 by Gov.Wes Moore to plan a commemoration of our state’s contributions to American history. The Todd Farm was the landing site of British ground troops in the attack on Baltimore in the War of 1812, a war sometimes referred to as “the second War of Independence”. The commission members expressed their appreciation for the tour and commended our organization for interpreting and preserving this important piece of Maryland history.
