Defender’s Day – September 2025
At Todd’s Inheritance Historic Site, the site of the British advance on Baltimore in 1814 and subsequent withdrawal, we celebrate Defender’s Day with reenactors, living history displays and history exhibits. Recently, we introduced a new exhibit showcasing the Battle Monument located in Baltimore City. This year, 2025, is the 200th anniversary of the completion of this monument, the first war monument in the country dedicated to the common soldier. This exhibit will be available for viewing in our museum through the end of 2025.
